Handmade Sketchbook Workshop

Hey, all. Nathaniel here. Check out this sweet book I made out of some old take-out bags, various papers, a cereal box, and some string! I'm heading a workshop on making these and similar books on February 23, 2013 at Division 9 Gallery in Downtown Riverside. Read on for more details!

The workshop will be from 11am - 2pm and you will be provided with string and I'll have some handy blades/scissors to cut materials to size. I've got different kinds of boxes and paper to give you but feel free to bring your own. The workshop will cost $25 before or at the door. Come through and make a sketchbook, or a diary, or a journal, or a smash book, or a notebook, and then take it home!

Once more from the top:

Saturday, February 23, 2013
11am - 2pm
$25

Take home a book you made!

All ages (kids should bring their parents as we'll have sharp objects about)

Eyedraugh Handmade Sketchbooks are made from the highest quality materials that I find on the floor. Their covers are repurposed cereal boxes (mostly) and the paper inside is likely butcher paper, the unused half of someone else's sketchbook, or found paper (which I found). They are bound by kite string or sewing thread, and the laws of physics. Each sketchbook is unique because the ingredients are.

Draw, paint, mark, write, scribble, scrawl, yell, sing, and have fun in these books. Share what you do on Twitter and Instagram: @eyedraugh.
