Collaboration X will be participating in the Mayor's Celebration for Arts & Innovation this Saturday night at the Fox Entertainment Plaza. The Mayor's Celebration is the largest fundraising event in support of the arts in this region. It is a celebration of the artists, organizations and educational institutions that help to give Riverside its identity as the City of Arts and Innovation. It is also a celebration of those who support the arts. As you enter the Fox Entertainment Plaza on the evening of Saturday, October 12, you will be greeted by performances and exhibitions everywhere you look. The culinary arts will be on display, as well, with multiple restaurants serving heavy hors d'oeuvres stationed in the Showcase Exhibit Hall and on the Promenade overlooking Market Street. David St. Pierre and The Menagerie will feature two no-host bars serving beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. Through his generosity, every drink you purchase is part of the evening's fundraising effort.

A trio of musicians from the Riverside County Philharmonic will be performing in the Showcase for your enjoyment from 6:00 to 7:00, followed by a performance by the award-winning storyteller Karen Rae Kraut, representing the Inlandia Institute. Ballet Folklorico de Riverside, Room to Dance and the rich harmonies of the a cappella group Frequency will lead us into the official welcome by Riverside Mayor Rusty Bailey and the event's first-ever live auction with guest auctioneer Dan Dotson of A&E's hit TV series "Storage Wars."
